August's top selling T-shirts

August's top selling T-shirts

People often ask me what the best-selling tees are and, so far, it seems to change month by month. In June it was the Pasha Bulker tee and in July it was the penis tower.

Neither of those appeared in the top five in August. So what are people buying this month?

#5 I <3 Newy

A local twist on a timeless classic, the I heart Newy shirt has been popular with people looking for a top that celebrates Newcastle without focusing too much on a specific team/feature.

#4 Newcastle Jets

With the soccer season kicking off, Jets fans have been buying the 2008 champions shirt presumably in the hope that Mark Bridge's famous goal can be recreated by Lachlan Rose in this year's grand final.

#3 Steelworks

With Father's Day approaching, purchases of the steelworks T-shirt proved popular. You might be cutting it a bit fine to order one before 7 September, but it would make a fine Christmas present, too.

#2 Newcastle beaches

The most recent addition to the line up, the Newcastle beaches acrostic T-shirt has been popular with people looking for something that highlights one of the best parts of living on the east coast.

#1 BHP veteran

Also popular with the Father's Day crowd, the BHP veteran shirt was the best-selling tee in August. One of Rae Narraway's many fantastic T-shirt designs, this top celebrating Newcastle's industrial past takes number one spot this month.
